I've spent over 13 years building web applications, SaaS products and ecommerce platforms, for everyone from startups to agencies to enterprise clients. I write code, design interfaces and lead multidisciplinary teams. These days I head up the technical side of somoscuatro, a digital consultancy based in Barcelona.

  • I help CEOs and Product Owners define technology strategies to improve their products' architecture and scalability
  • I define end-to-end technical architectures: from data modelling in PostgreSQL to infrastructure with Docker, Terraform and Kubernetes
  • I act as the bridge between UI/UX design and engineering teams. I lead distributed, multidisciplinary teams, setting delivery and documentation standards across all the projects we work on
  • I design and build complex features for clients' SaaS and e-commerce platforms using Laravel, PHP, Livewire, Inertia.js, Alpine.js, React, Next.js, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS
  • I choose, customise and implement bespoke CMS architectures for each client, helping them decide which solution fits best among Statamic, Shopify, Sanity, WordPress/WooCommerce and Craft CMS
  • I build looped AI agent systems with Claude Code, Codex and Orca, optimising orchestration flows for the highest code quality per token consumed. I build custom agent chains with LangChain and LangGraph
  • I handle prompt engineering and integrate MCP servers and n8n automation flows to connect AI agents with clients' working tools
  • I use local models with LM Studio and Ollama for work that requires client data privacy or quick testing without API costs

  • I led a full refactor of the marketing site's codebase, introducing an object-oriented architecture, separating business logic from the view layer and adding a test suite
  • I monitored performance with New Relic, identified slow queries and other bottlenecks, and resolved them by optimising search with Apache Solr, caching with Redis and gzip compression
